Today I received my latest addition to my Cisco Systems hardware lineup, a Catalyst 1924 Enterprise switch.
This switch has VLAN capabilities, has 24 10base-T (too bad it’s only 10mbit) ethernet ports, 1 100base-T uplink ethernet port and 1 100base-T optical fiber port (both Rx and Tx).
It is managable by CLI, by default only through it’s console port, but when configured correctly it can also be accessed by Telnet (for whoever would want that).
It also has 1 extra AUI interface on the back on which a transeiver of any kind can be put to expand connectivity.
There isn’t that much more to tell about it, so here a just a fews pics of it.
